PERSONALITY: Olajide Bakare

It has been a while I posted on the personality section here, so I have decided to honour a dynamic young man who inspires a large group of young individuals within his reach.

His full name is Olajide Olawale Bakare. He  hails from the Ibeju-Lekki part of Lagos, a final year student of microbiology at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State (some miles away from Lagos, Nigeria).

Olajide is the President of the largest fellowship on campus-The Redeemed Christian Fellowship(RCF). This shows he has a bundle of load on him. When asked how he gets the job done effortlessly, he reveals that the Holy Spirit is his inspiration.

Olajide has  passion for souls and earnestly desires that everyone within his reach continually grows spiritually. No wonder his messages and charges are centered on personal and spiritual growth.

This young man says he takes  cues from the late Dr. Myles Munroe (Blessed Memories) and Philip Babatunde Durojaiye (His Predecessor), because they have both at one time or the other done what he is currently doing now, and they have not seized to motivate him.

Olajide's philosophy about life is "Hard work with the 'G' factor pays. Hard work outside God can be likened to embarking on a journey to nowhere."

It gladdens Jide's (as fondly called) heart to see people fulfill their God destined purposes, because a life outside purpose is tantamount to ruins.

I celebrate this young handsome Man today, even as he continues to put other young men on the track.
