OGUNNOIKI
ADEMOLA OLUWASEGUN
Ogunnoiki Ademola Oluwasegun is
popularly known as "Demmy Sax"
He was born into the family of Mr.
and Dr. (Mrs.) Ogunnoiki early in the 90's. He’s a young talented saxophonist, a composer and a producer.
He is a student of Political
Science at The University of Ibadan (UI), Nigeria.
He’s a Saxophone major though a multi- instrumentalist along
the wind family and other percussion instruments, He has passion for music which is helping him go far in his
ministry. He majors on Gospel (RnB, Reggae, Afro jazz and hip-hop). He has also
done some recordings with some hip hop artists and currently working on his
first Rhythm and blues single, He also has a jazz group of his own presently, a
7-man-band.
He had performed at various events
both on campus (University of Ibadan) and outside campus. Ademola was also
among the three finalists for most talented at the Independence Hall Week, UI
in 2012.
He has also worked with several
Producers, Musicians, Artists, Song writers and Jazzists.
Ademola draws his inspiration from
God and these talented people Kenny G, Mike Aremu, Kirk Whalum, Herbert Kunle
Ajayi, Kunle Ajayi, Yemi Sax, Beejay Sax, Yolanda Brown, Topsticks, Tosin
Williams, Asa, Beautiful Nubia, and Femi Kuti.
Ademola loves playing the
saxophone, studying, singing, and helping other young ones develop their
talents and aspirations especially for musical instruments, while he hates lies.
He believes that ''it's not how far, but how well.'
