MAKE THE SACRIFICE

. . . Fellowship, Love, Leadership and Service

You know them, don’t you? They are very big tasks that sounds easy but actually aren’t. Guess what is common to all these things, it’s SACRIFICE. Sacrifice is not doing things for your own personal credit but in the best interest of the other person. Sacrifices require so much dedication and discipline because it might not look fruitful in the beginning but surely there would be reward at the end.

At FIRST, FELLOWSHIP makes you feel INSECURE, LOVE makes you feel VULNERABLE, LEADERSHIP gives you the feeling of PRIDE while SERVICE the feeling of a SERVANT. These aren’t good virtues and if not carefully worked on could lead to producing BAD FRUITS, but I don’t think this is what they are meant to result in, this would actually destroy one in the long run.

On the other hand, FELLOWSHIP should give you a feeling of belonging or friendship, LOVE should give you a feeling of deep affection, LEADERSHIP should give you a sense of followership, SERVICE should give you a sense of stewardship. When all these virtues are gotten right GOOD FRUITS manifest these are GROWTH, EFFECTIVENESS, GOOD RELATIONSHIPS etc., and making sacrifices for people around us wouldn’t be a big deal, though we might have been placed over them as boss or we might in one way be superior to them this would in no way deter one  from making those sacrifices no matter how big or small they are.

Make those sacrifices that would benefit everyone around you this year 2014, because it is worth it.
